Denial and apology
Following an unfortunately distorted and misrepresented version of what I said at the PR-Lions press conference.
I want to make it clear that the Prime campaign for Halebop, “Mess is more”, quite correctly made the short list and was one of the best campaigns among all the entries which explains why it was on two short lists, Technology and Manufacturing and Best Use of the Internet, Digital Media and Social Media. It is a very professional and imaginative campaign and if it had been up to me alone I would have given it a Lion.
The campaign is rightfully on the shortlist. I did not suggest that anything in the entry was falsified or untrue. Nor have I suggested that Björn Mellstrand has criticized the entry.
If the agency and the client and all concerned have been caused distress I sincerely apologize.
